Astrid C. Homan

Astrid C. Homan is a Full Professor in the Work and Organizational Psychology department at University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her main research interests are group diversity and performance, diversity beliefs, (minority) leadership, and group processes. She has published her work on diversity in teams in journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Academy of Management Journal, and Journal of Organizational Behavior. Additionally, she has published in Psychological Science, Journal of Experimental Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Group Processes and Intergroup Relations on diverse topics as norm violations, power, tacit coordination, reflexivity, and leadership.

Professor Homan has served on the board of the Conflict Management Division of the Academy of Management and on the board of the International Association for Conflict Management. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Small Group Research, Social Psychological and Personality Science, British Journal of Management, and Journal of Personnel Psychology.
